So today, I was playing with creating a button for the new Paper Cowgirl event in the Fall. And wishing that I had been able to take Mendy's Digi Class at Paper Cowgirl, boo. As I did these by hand, rather than with photo shop. Oh that I could. But I digress. For the top one, I copied an old post card, that had the image popping out of torn edges.
On this one, I wanted to represent the whole tea cup thing. And I added a few more elements. Still not crazy over either one.
Made this one gray. Well, I think that made it worse and even harder to see. Ugh.
Back to the drawing board I think. LOL.
But tomorrow, I think I want to play with something more funner!
Thank you all so much for your kind words regarding Paper Cowgirl, believe me, they are greatly appreciated. You all are too sweet!
hugs,

Cindy,
Thank you for the kind words you left on my site. There are so many wonderful people that I have met through blogging, including you, that I could probably make a dozen posts like my last one. Maybe I should do one just on my Texas connections. :D And speaking of Texas connections, I haven't given up my plans to make a run to Waxahachie to check out the "scene" there and maybe get to meet you. October 16 is the date for the next Paper Cowgirl? I'm going to my calendar now and going to find a way to make it work this time!!! Y'all know how to have a great time!
Happy Thursday,
~Allie

Oh, I like the one with orange! Wicked cool! Just make the witchy woman more prominent, as you did in the grey one. That's my 2 cents. Thanks for your comment today at my post...you are right, that cheeky photo was crazyyyyy! And Paper Cowgirl was just the funnest event ever! Thanks for including the Goober! ~ Angela

But you now I love the polka dots, polka dots are just plain happy!!! Soooo looking forward to another event with you!!! Maybe if you learn photoshop, I can learn to apply a button to my blog!!!Hehehe!! Hey you never know....I saw yesterday that there was a blogging for dummies book, I need it!!!-Sandra

I like the top one. Just had to really look for "tea". BTW, what is this? Is it an online or in person event?

Those are cute, Cindy! I'm not a digi person either... I like to touch my supplies.
PC looked like it was a lot of fun! Hopefully I can make it next year.

I can't believe Halloween is just around the corner- So much to do... So little time. And your buttons look great... Try not to be too hard on yourself. I like the one with the teacup.

I love them both, but I really love the first one! I think it's gorgeous!
I had fun reading about the retreat. Someday, I'm gonna make it there. What a special thing to have Tina's family there! Brought tears to my eyes. Congratulations on what looks like an incredible retreat!
I am way, way behind on everything. The way my year started, I have been out of sorts and scattered and hiding ever since. But I am trying to get back to my roots and visit the people that inspire me so, like you. Hope you are having a great summer so far! I'll be back soon! Thinking of you,
marsha

Hey, Cindy! Hope you have recovered after Paper Cowgirls. What a great time we all had. I am just putting the finishing touches on my post about my classes. When I got home I was hit by a bunch of health issues for my hubby so I am really running behind. I just wanted to tell you I had a BLAST at Paper Cowgirls. You put on some kinda party girl! HUGS!
