Thank you all for the answers to "keep or not to keep". Yeah. You're right! And while I can't keep everything, this one is a keeper indeed.
Speaking of vintage finds, not much to be had at Canton yesterday. What a disappointment. Lots of vendors there, just no "good stuff". Well. What I consider "good stuff" anyway. Found a few things, I'll try and post those tomorrow.
And NO where could I find these guys. That was another disappointment. Boo.
But, all in all, a day spent with my Dad is always a good day. And we did have a nice day, jabbing each others "taste" in goods. Yes, according to him, I have NONE. LOL. But the day also had much yakking, laughing, walking, being outside and enjoying a good burger. So, it was not all bad.
And speaking of vintage things I hate to let go. The last of the velvet violets are being shipped out. *sigh* I really hated to let those go. But as I said, I can't keep everything. As much as I would like to.
And speaking of violets. I had started this journal page several days ago and never got back around to it. Imagine my delight when Pam posted on journal pages the other day. It reminded me, that I had one (page) sitting near the desk, asking to be finished. Begging. But no time for you right now.
Love this Emerson quote. Makes me think of an enchanted place, dappled colors, and the smell of honeysuckle maybe? Magical. But I digress.
Since I'm currently getting ready for my own journal class at Paper Cowgirl, I'm soaking up anything and everything "journal". Have not made the leap to Copic Markers but may have to pick some up and "play" with them this weekend. I think my LSS is boasting of a pretty good selection right now. Cause muh page needs color. In a big way.
And speaking of my journal class, those who are taking are in for a treat! Sister has generously offered to let us dig through the stash left over from Sharon's Junk Journal class. What fun you gals will have wading through that treasure trove of oldies and goodies. Happy, Happy indeed.
And speaking of Happy....
Happy Friday. Hope yours is a good un.
And speaking of....OK...I'll stop now! :D
Sounds like a fun time for you and your Dad at Canton

What a nice day with your dad--jokin' and jabbin', it doesn't get any better:)
Your journal page is a great start and those markers sound like fun. I hope you'll show us what you do with them!

"you can't keep it all" is a hard one, but very true!
