The other night, I was diggin around in the studio, looking for a cupid image. I wanted a chubby, nekkid cupid. After going through all of my Dover books (to no avail), I remembered that I had bought a book a few months ago at the flea market. Sure enough, there he was. He was perfect. A big, fat, nekkid baby, drinking out of a bottle. Well, snip here and there. Add some feathers for wings. A heart in his hands. Viola. Big, Fat, Nekkid, Baby Cupid.
Well, I thought this BFNB Cupid would be cute on a gift bag.
So I took a plain, red bag (from Target) and repeatedly wrote, "I have found the one my heart loves" which is one of my favorite quotes from Song of Solomon.
A cutout, anchors the little cupid. I glittered the heart and added the letter "U". I think Sweet Hub will enjoy his little Valentine niftie giftie. It's got chocolate in it, how can he not? LOL.
Here is a little bit brighter shot (a wee too much flash perhaps). Isn't the tissue adorable? I love Target. Truly. Off to make some more BFNB cupids.
Happy Wednesday.
When it comes to cupids, the fatter the better! If only that would apply to artists..... What a wonderful world that would be.

Too cute! Your hub should love it... unless he's anything like mine. I wrote one about how "he gets it"... but not so much anymore. :) Not sure what happened to him. LOL xoxo, Joanna

Your cupid is adorable and very clever of you! Your handwriting is amazing, looks like one of those background stamps! That is one of my fave verses too!
