Jen, over at Sanctuary Arts is having a little, "I made it with Scrapbook Paper Party". Well, being a huge fan of scrapbook paper, I could not resist playing along. So here are my simple, party, offerings.
I love to cover frames with scrap book paper. This one (on the right) is done in paper and an old, metal piece attached to the top. I sanded and stained the paper as well.
The frames (el cheapo at Michaels for like a buck) start out, like most of us in life, naked and plain.
But with a little paper, viola. I've seen others add a piece of vintage jewelry or ribbon. They make a sweet gift. And did I mention cheap? For under $5.00 (depending upon embellishments) you can make a great gift.
And speaking of el cheapo. Comp books. Stock up when they are .50 each at back to school sales. So that you can do this.
I used new paper, vintage paper, flocked paper (new), and even fabric paper (that Lisa sent me).
I love making these. Fun and they make great gifts as well.
And the last bit of paper fun...so easy...no glue required.
Heck hardly any work.
These paper letters, simply sat in a small dish of buttons, with a nest on top. Easy peasy.
Just adds a little something extra to the tabletop display in the entry way.
Go check out Jen (love her paper valance) and all the other cool, creative chicks at Sanctuary Art blogspot. Thanks Jen for hosting a fun party! And thanks for stopping by and checking me out! : D
PS! Thanks for everyone's imput on the last post! I really appreciate it. All future plates will be done with small dots. Which were the overwhelming winner! Thanks ya'll!!!
We sure do have a lot in common. I just made a cute little frame last night and boy do I have a few .50 notebooks!
I love your notebook and frame. The colors are great. Thanks for sharing the link to all the other paper creations. I visited each one.

Cindy - I love that last arrangement - what kind of paper letters? Did you make them, or are they like cardboard? All of your stuff is fabulous. Thanks, Nancy
