I love rain. Not to be out in it. Well, OK, sometimes that's kinda fun. OK. Not Really. But I love it if, I'm home, inside, comfy, cozy. And we've needed the rain so badly. Our ground has been pulling away from the driveway...it's been so dry. You know those bad Texas soils and all. Can be costly.
So, all of this to say...I'm very much enjoying the gray, rainy day today. Sipping a cuppa of White Chocolate Latte and working on another little book.
Do you ever start one way and then kinda "lose" where you where going with it? Well, that has kinda happened to me this morning. Just small detail differences, but as they say, the devil is in the details.
Here's one cover.
This is the first cover...but still not sure about what needs to stay or go at the bottom.
Sorry, you get to see all the crap on my desk close up. Have not quite figured out how to crop these offa of the camera.
And here's the third.
It actually ended up most like the third one, only with the lace in a straight line. I was not real thrilled with the "angel" thing on the edge and did bump it up a bit. But overall was happy the way it turned out I guess.
Well, I'm off to finish working on this little thing and enjoy the rainy afternoon and maybe even sneak in a third cup. Living dangerously...that's me.
Happy Monday.
The cover is beautiful! Very cute!

Cindy - this post made me giggle because I totally get lost in the tiniest of details as it seems you do. :) Kindred spirits perhaps.
