But yes, its the Birds, the birds. No wait...that was Tattoo, "de plane, de plane" on Fantasy Island. Regardless which, new birdies are flying in. Thank goodness they are not creating havoc. These sweeties just want a new home.
This little Sing a Song birdie is bright and fun. She has a secret. She has a "wish" sticker tucked inside her body. Sorta like a Build a Bear, but no. No I didn't kiss it before I tucked it in there. If you are four, well, that's cute...but in your forties, well that's just kinda creepy. LOL.
This "Love warms every Nest" birdie is bright and fun. Loved the colors in this one.
But this handsome fellow is probably my favorite. We use a lot of this color combo in the store.
I put a lot of beads on this on. And I used a cool velvet leaf that Lisa had sent me when we did our birdie and blue swap. And I just loved the fabrics on this on. I think he would be so cute tucked into a little nest or a silver tray surrounded by eggs.
I just added all of these to my Etsy. Sweet Heather has been helping me put my shop together. And linking the blog to the store and vice versa. Since I just can't seem to get the hang of the mini Etsy and my buttons on the side. DUH.
And I must gush. Willow Nest. I've been a huge fan of their web-site for quite some time now. And was delighted to find them at Canton. But this weekend they were at a local Antique show and I must tell you, their space was enchanting. Truly a vision in white. Literally. From a hanging mobile of white painted brushes dipped in chunky glitter to an apron tied tree, it was all very dreamy. Linda's hand-made nests were inhabiting apothecary jars. Each with a tiny nest label on old book pages. Everything was just charming. She and Ludmil are very talented indeed. And very nice. I enjoyed chatting with Linda very much.
I hope your weekend was fun as well. On to Monday.
