I'm perpetually late.
Always dashing about, out of breath, behind. And as annoying as it is to others, it is equally annoying to me. If it is a morning thing that I need to be on time for, the earlier I get up, the later I am.
My poor hubby, he has given up. My parents tried everything from setting my clock minutes ahead to even leaving me behind, all to no avail. One of my oldest, dearest friends used to tell me that I ran on London time while everyone else was on American time. Har, har! Funny girl that one. Who also had her own time issues. We were a perfect pair. Dr. Phil says it's arrogance on my part. I pray not! I like to think I just try to do to much in too little time and that basically it has just become a really BAD habit. What's the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results each time...or something like that. Well, that's me.
So, that is all being said to say that I am still running behind. Still dashing about doing last minute painting and pasting and papering in order to have a nice full booth for hopefully BIG SELLS tomorrow for the outdoor event in our town. While I did take many pics of the store, I never dropped them off for developing. So, something to look forward to next week.
Speaking of time issues, a very belated Thank You over to Lisa over at Tattered Tiara for the Thinking Blogger Award. Which I wish I could figure out how to:
#1. Past the picture of it here.
#2 Figure out how to put my awards back on my side bar.
#3. Figure out how to add the new one to it.
Oh well, hopefully more time (ha!) next week.
Thanks also to Theresa at Garden Antiques for giving me the Smile Award. Again, see #1 and #2 and #3 above. Thanks to both of these sweet ladies for thinking of me. I'm truly honored. I plan to pass them on next week. Which I will probably be late when I do so.
Well, better dash. Hopefully next week more time to show you pics, projects, tell you about my personal hair cutting experience (yes, I had a "5-year-old-moment" and cut my own hair, sheesh) and more.
But for now, I hope everyone has a great weekend.
PS...Sorry my white rabbit is fuzzy....LOL....no pun intended!
time is not your friend...I love those commercials, and this made me think of it in relation to you...LOL.

Well, LOL, it sounds like you're describing me. I had my hair done Saturday and I was just contemplating taking a bit off the top myself. I think she left it a little long. Maybe I'll rethink it. I am always late and I think, for me, Dr. Phil is probably right. In the back of my mind I'm always sort of thinking....HEY, they are lucky I'm going to be there at all; they can forget having me one time!.......I know I'm bad. I'm also an absolutely horrid time manager and a piddler. I lose focus and end up frittering away time.
