I have a Nice Rack!

Yeah.  I do.  I have been told.  So, I just have to boast about it for a wee bit.  I'm sure you won't begrudge me being just a little bit proud.  Let me show ya my rack. 

 

Ha!  Sorry, just had to do that!  This baby just came into my possession via my sweet friend, RB.  I appreciated the darn good price for this, cause I have long since admired them at The Container Store and I know what they retail for.  So when she offered, I snapped it up.  I mean, come on, every girl needs a nice rack.  Right? 

 

So I welcomed the newest addition to the Studio.  Right now, it is sitting just out of the way, filled with assorted projects on the old "to do" list.  But eventually it will go into my (hopefully) organized closet.  Holding all the papers that I have that have thus far killed two plastic rollie bins.

....somehow, someway, I've screwed up my Google Reader.  Arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhh!

Does anyone else do GR?  How do I get my subscriptions back?  How do I get it to let me "mark as read" at the bottom again?  I've looked at it every which way...all to no avail.

Blah. I'm really Blah.

That's how I feel.  Tired, wrung out.  But its the third day of antibiotics for a bladder infection, that actually I did not know that I had.  How's that for dumb?  I knew I had a severe back ache, but it kinda came and went.  I figured I just pulled something. 

I knew I felt tired, but I just chalked it up to other things.  I went to the Doc on Friday (for one of those "yearly" things) and found out that I had this.  Huh?  Who knew?  Obviously not me.  LOL. 

Now, I'm wishing I had a magic wand.  I have so much to do and no energy to do it with.  Aargh!  (Can you tell, I've laid on the couch and watched pirate movies all weekend long?  Cool, I finally get "World's End" or some of it anyway.) 

 

Here's what I have NOT done over the weekend, which I should have done.  Goodies from an Estate Sale on Thursday.  Have not even taken them out of the bag yet.  That's sad I tell ya.  And another sad, the movie, "The Notebook".  Good grief...that was a roll of toilet tissue.  sheesh.  I should not be crying...my bladder probably needs that fluid!

 

This box of Fall goodies needs to be marked and taken up to the booth. 

 

Not to mention, trays that need to be painted.  Flocked paper that needs to be put on frames.  Clothespins that need to be stamped.  Elves.  I need elves.  But let's just see what's on TBS. 

 

*sigh* This pile mocks me, "we should have been made into books back in July!".  Yeah, yeah.  But wait, cool.  Elvis night on TCM.  Don't ya love those clothes and that hair from the 60's?  I want a poof on the back of my head, like that 60's hair. 

 

Even this pile of goodies from Lisa, can't break my malaise and couch potato mode.  Tsk, tsk.  Shame on me.

 

Not to mention, that "the shower" is this coming weekend.  ohmygosh.  And yet, I just want to go curl up in bed.  And watch another movie.  Or better yet, sleep.  I'm so full of water and cranberry juice that I slosh when I walk.  Really, no more fluids please.  And honestly, I'm not trying to whine, I tell you this to explain my four day absence. 

But hopefully tomorrow will be the turning point, and I will have lots to show you as the week goes on.  I know, blogging with obligation and all that....but I do like to visit with ya at least three or four times a week.  At least. 

But for now...back to the couch.  Where's that remote?

Martha, Martha, Martha...

Some of her goods, mostly wedding, looks like it is being clearanced out by Wallie. 

 

Since one of the five jillion things I'm working on right now, is my niece's wedding shower, you can better believe that I was snapping em up.  And a lot of it could be just used in general.  The eyelet banners (so cute) were a mere $2.00 each.  And I'm sure that paper could be tinted in some sort of way.  And the glitter, just as cheap, $2.00 a package!  Heck, I felt like I was stealing it.  The bird stickers, .50 a package.  Unreal.  So, head over to Wallie and see what you can find.  Good stuff.  

And as they say, one man's trash....well you know the rest.  But in this case, it is one "woman's" trash.  LOL.  Sister was just going to throw away, put in the dumpster, toss it, this box of "goodies".  Well, cause I really need more crap in my studio, could not let her do that.  So I commandeered the box and have spent a few moments this morning "rifling".  LOL.

 

Amazing stuff really.  I cannot believe she was going to just throw it away.  If it is OK by her, I'm going to put some out on my Etsy, later this week.

And cool ledger and old calender pages.  I'm working on some packets.  So hope it is OK with her to sell.  LOL. 

I have not had much time to work in the Studio lately, as work and other things have kept me from slipping in there and hangin.  Much to my disappointment, but hopefully over the next few days.  So many things sitting in there, in various stages of completion.  *sigh*

Ohmygosh...we got PaPaYa in at work yesterday.  Honestly, it's just gorgeous.  I need to go snap some of the displays...but the papers, monogrammed tags, stickers...just amazingly beautiful!  I can see no paycheck going home for the next few weeks.  LOL.
